Making the right food choices


What we eat and drink is as important as the exercise we do. It’s no good having one without the other if your goal is to be healthy, happy and full of energy.

However that’s easier said than done, right?

If you’re a busy woman juggling a full time job, family, or both, and are fed up of trying one diet after another without getting any results, or exercising your butt off (excuse the pun) but still not losing weight, or perhaps you just want to improve your diet but aren’t sure where to start, we’d like to introduce you to Abi, the latest addition to the Movers & Shapers team.

Meet Abi

Abi Manders is a Certified Nutrition and Health Coach specialising in helping busy women make healthy living a way of life. Five years ago she was travelling all over the world running global corporate events, managing a large team, operating at a million miles an hour and fuelling herself with sugar, caffeine and carbs to get through the day. She ate pretty well, cooked at home as much she could, and when she did eat out, always chose the healthier option. But when she looks back, knowing what she knows now, most of her diet was made up of processed foods. They're so hard to get away from! 

Through her yoga practice, training with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and becoming a mum, she’s learned how to nourish her body and mind with real, whole foods, and loves helping other women learn how to do the same.
