how we work

We carefully select the best technologies to give you the most effective and efficient workout and back this up with sound nutrition advice.

But more important than the technology and equipment that we use is the expertise of our highly trained and friendly Group Personal Trainers who lead each and every session. We offer a variety of sessions most of which are suitable for beginners with a broader range available as you progress. Many of our sessions are suitable for new mums and mums-to-be and we offer both pre- and post-natal exercise options. 

Our approach ensures you will double your results in half the time.

We help you track your progress with regular one-to-one Results Check-Ins, scheduled for every six to eight weeks. During these we can record your vital body stats, lifestyle and goals. Our clients will tell you that this feedback is a big factor in their success.

Regular Check Ins

We want to ensure that you acheive the results that you desire so we offer a regular 6 weekly check-in where you will meet with your designated trainer.

When you first start at Movers & Shapers we will book you in for your first consulation with one of our expert trainers. This trainer will become your designated trainer and will be selected on the basis of being the best fit for you and your needs. Where possible this trainer will remain your designated trainer throughout your time with us. This way they will gradually get to know you and understand your personal requirements. This will help them to guide you towards the best sessions or exercise programme for you. This is all included as part of your membership here with us at Movers & Shapers.

Every 6 weeks or so we will invite you back for your next consultation. This allows us to constantly monitor your progress and to ensure that you are always improving and help you to avoid plateau's or drops in your motivation.

Additionally in these sessions we will carry out the following measurements:

  • Waist
  • Chest
  • Hips
  • Thigh & Bicep
  • Weight
  • Water retention
  • Muscle Mass
  • Bone Density
  • Metabolic Age
