Whilst the small Group Exercise sessions offered in the Movers & Shapers studios are ideal for helping people achieve their fitness goals sometimes you need that little bit of extra asisstance to get you across the line.
All of our Personal Trainers here at Movers & Shapers are Reps Level 3 qualified or above and most have additional qualifications such as pre/post natal, common orthapaedic conditions, GP referral, suspension training and nutrition to name a few.
Your Personal Trainer will help you define your fitness goals and give you a realistic timeframe in which you could expect to see the results that you are after. They will take into account your current fitness level and also what you enjoy, as well as the areas you feel that you may need additional support. from here they will design a programme based solely around you, they will even plan milestones along the way and carry out regular testing so that you are always confident that you are making progress.
Form & Function
In your 1-2-1 sessions your Personal Trainer will be right beside you, guiding you through your programme and always ensuring that you are doing the right exercises, the right way and at the right frequency to gently push you ever further towards your goal. They will demonstrate exercises and then watch you perform them so that they can correct any issues with your posture or technique. Learning how to perform exercises correctly reduces your risk of injury but also means you can safely continue your exercises when you are not with your trainer.
